Meet the Artists of our 2022 season of live, in-person concerts!

After nearly two years without presenting any public concerts, we are beyond thrilled to announce the 2022 season of Desert Hot Springs Classical Concerts! Our season begins next Sunday, February 20th at 4pm, with an outdoor performance at Guy Tedesco Park: "Wind Quintets in the Park".

Please visit our website for details about next Sunday's concert, and to see the complete 2022 season calendar. As always, we rely on word-of-mouth: so please tell your friends, family, neighbors, and anyone else you think might enjoy some live music!

We did it! Our 2021 online season has begun...

Taking a year off was never an option. The music will go on!

After months of planning and hundreds of hours of work, our 2021 online season is here! Things got kicked off this past Sunday with a performance by musicians who last performed here in Desert Hot Springs on March 8, 2020…just days before the pandemic changed everything. If you missed that online concert by Mircea Gogoncea and Marley Eder, don’t worry: you can catch the encore broadcast on Thursday, March 11th just a few days before the next new concert of our online season by cellist Derek Stein on March 14th. Complete details can be found HERE.

Update re: concerts in 2020-2021

Wow! It’s been quite a year.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Desert Hot Springs Classical Concerts had to postpone concerts this past spring. However, we have continued working behind the scenes and will have some online content from some of our featured artists up soon for everyone to enjoy. We are also planning an all-online concert series for 2021, featuring musicians performing at outdoor locations throughout the city. Please stay tuned!

Upcoming concerts postponed

Dear Friends,

It was great to see so many of you at Sunday's Afternoon Concert Crawl!

Since then, we've been monitoring communications from the CDC and the Riverside County Public Health Office regarding the developing Coronavirus (COVID-19). Although our events do not meet the guidelines for cancellation set forth by the Governor's office and county public health officials–cancelling public events with more than 250 in attendance–it is also true that individuals who are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 are encouraged to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people.

Recognizing the very real concerns about Coronavirus, and especially the uncertainty about how things will unfold in the coming weeks, this Sunday's concert at Grace Church will be postponed. And the benefit concert previously scheduled for March 24 will also be postponed, since the artists will be unable to enter the country due to the travel ban announced this week limiting travel from Europe.

Rest assured, classical music in Desert Hot Springs will continue! Taking a cue from other arts presenters, we will monitor communications from public health officials over the next few weeks and plan accordingly. Please stay tuned...

Wishing you and your loved ones well,
